We Help Ourselves – Methadone To Abstinence Residential Program (WHO’s-MTAR)

About

The program uses the Therapeutic Community model of drug treatment to assist clients to reduce off methadone while learning the skills necessary to live drug free. It offers slow reduction from methadone in the first half of the program and abstinence in the second half. Accommodation up to 1 year. NA meetings are compulsory. Groupwork, counselling, living, social & communication skills development, stress management program, leisure activities, self esteem building, HIV/HCV and other infectious disease education and support.
